Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher – In-Person

We are currently seeking one (1) to two (2) in-person Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teachers to provide specialized educational services for students with hearing impairments in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with school staff to support the academic and communication needs of students.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
* Valid Maryland State Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification).
* Previous experience working with DHH students preferred.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
* Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Provide support to general education teachers and staff regarding accommodations and strategies.
* Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
